Based in 20 acres of quiet parkland conveniently located on the Sahastradhara Road in Dehradun, we are a thriving and progressive school big enough to provide a wide variety of academic, sports and creative opportunities. On behalf of the President, the Director, Asst Director and my staff, it is my proud privilege to welcome you to be part of The Heritage Family in our inaugural year. Our vision is to create a school, where children enter with a warm smile and deep respect, and where educators engage with students with capability, conscientiousness, and compassion.

OUR VALUES

It was in 1953 when Mr. J. J Sookias and his wife Mrs. M. Sookias started this school in Dehradun and called it, ‘The Doon Cultural Centre’.

With just a handful of students to start with, the school rapidly grew in strength and skills, and came to be recognized among the best in the valley; a school where a multi-faceted education was being imparted to the young entrusted to its care.

With great pride and pleasure, The Heritage School has started its second branch at the Shastradhara Road Campus, Dehradun.

We are, “The Heritage School, North Campus”.

Welcome to the infant community at North Campus. We very fondly call them our ‘Sunbeams’. These are Classes Lkg, Ukg and Class I.

The Junior School comprises Classes II, III, IV, V, VI, VII and VIII. Each year these classes will move up and the school will very soon grow to be a full-fledged High School.

Our constant quest is to provide our students with the very best. We want them to enjoy being at North Campus and in the years to come, remember and recollect the valuable time spent at school.

Continued student improvement in all fields, curricular and co-curricular. Students exhibiting high levels of self- confidence regarding their potential and learning. Increased staff development in order to implement a high standard of student learning.

The school environment must be safe, orderly, motivating and interesting. Every Heritagian should be a life-long learner and a responsible future citizen.
